With the growing environmental movement to lower the footprint of geophysical operations helicopters have become an increasingly important transportation method for locating equipment on exploration program job sites.
Absolute Equipment manufactures leases and sells three types of helicopter borne remote pick-up systems along with their related pick-up ground assemblies. Stock and custom equipment transportation heli-bags, pick-up lanyards and heli-portable emergency fire suppression kits are also available. Field operations can also benefit from Absolute Equipment supplied seismic operation dedicated high-end GPS equipment for helicopters and staging sites. These “Nav” systems ensure your valuable recording equipment is placed at the correct survey points in preparation for the recording crew's arrival.
Mitcham acquired Absolute Equipment in early 2010 and can now package complete land recording systems with a heli-assist transportation system to fit your needs in remote exploration programs.
